Community Produce Program

NOTICE: Community Produce program is currently not in operation due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The Community Produce program for UAS residents is a collaboration between the UASRA and Swipe Out Hunger at UCLA, a non-profit student organization that addresses food insecurity on campus.

Every Sunday, SOH volunteers travel to the Brentwood Farmers Market and collect surplus produce and foodstuffs from participating farmers. They then deliver it to University Village where resident volunteers receive and sort the produce for distribution to the community.

The produce varies from week to week depending on what we receive, and like at the farmer's market, it is always fresh and organic. For the UAS community, it's also always free.
