We grew up having Egg hunts for Easter. For Christians (and for my family, like most of the people in South America) the eggs were a symbol of Jesus' resurrection. Later I learned the Egg tradition is older than the Christian one. And the Egg represents LIFE, beginning to bloom in the Spring.
This has been a difficult year for many of the families living in our community. We wanted to bring them the hope and joy associated with Spring with a virtual Egg Hunt.
More than 65 families registered for this activity, and 105 kits with supplies were delivered for our Unit Representatives.
