About UASRA
Residents Serving Residents

The University Apartments/South Residents' Association (UASRA), first established in 1962, serves the residents of the University Apartments South (UAS) complexes: University Village, Rose Avenue, Venice Barry, Keystone, Mentone, and Clarington. Every registered tenant of University Apartments South is a member of UASRA by virtue of a monthly contribution with your rent.
The UASRA is tasked with planning the use of UASRA recreational and cultural resources, liaising with the UAS community and UCLA administration and student government, and exploring with the University how to best meet the needs of residents. The UASRA encourages residents to get involved with various UASRA activities such as our annual Opening Social, other social activities throughout the year, classes held at the Sawtelle Community Center, the semi-annual events held for the various apartment complexes, and General Assembly meetings.
The UASRA hosts monthly General Assembly meetings where we gather to discuss and respond to residents’ questions and concerns, as well as invite UAS management and the UC Police Department to inform residents of current issues. All residents are invited and encouraged to attend this meeting; light refreshments and childcare are provided. The General Assembly is held at 7:00 PM on the 3rd Wednesday of every month except for August and December. The General Assembly takes place on zoom at: https://bit.ly/UASRAGENERALASSEMBLY
