October: What's Happening In Our Community

It is spooky season! Here is what is happening in the coming weeks.

 

Reminders for Residents

  1. If you have a package or a bike stolen, we encourage you to report it.

  2. If you want to have the person arrested who stole your item, LAPD can take action against individuals and build a case. If not, you will likely not get your item back.

 

October 30 at 5-8 PM: Celebrate Halloween with Us!

All of UAS: Sunday, October 30

Sepulveda A: Minions - The Rise of Gru, candy, crafts, tattoos, photos, popcorn, and a raffle.


Sawtelle B: Haunted maze, cotton candy, craft, tattoos, and a raffle.


*Get a free ticket per kid for a candy bag, handcraft, and tattoo.








 

Other Halloween Events in the Community

Sawtelle A Playground: Friday, October 28th 6-8 PM

Join your neighbors for a Halloween family movie night! Pizza and snacks will be provided.


Sawtelle D: Saturday, October 29

Join your neighbors for Halloween balloon animals, face painting, candy, and pizza. Look out for a flyer in your community with more details!







Sawtelle E: Saturday, October 29 1-4 PM

Join your neighbors for pizza, face painting, and balloon twisting! Costumes are encouraged.













 

Resident of the Month: Chris Ho

Chris has been a leading and active volunteer on the Sawtelle side. He has helped with the NourishLA program and brought active volunteers together for the free food program.
