Hi! I’m Maria, the current Event coordinator, and I’m running for the same position for next academic year. Last year I embraced the challenge to be the Event Coordinator during the pandemic. Thanks to working together with incredible members of our community, unit reps and neighbors, we had a year full of virtual activities. For the next period, I hope also to host in-person events. My goal is to develop an inclusive program centered on the community's needs. I expect to continue with the Holidays celebrations (Valentine’s Crafts, Christmas letter to Santa, Spring Egg hunt, etc), Craft Fair, Cooking Classes, the Book Club, Workshops for future parents, Community Art Festival, along with new and engaging activities. I believe Uasra Events and classes are spaces where we connect with our neighbors and strengthen our community. Please support our team with your vote. We all are current Uasra officers who had been Unit Representatives on our units, and we want to voice our neighbor's needs from the board.
