I am a trained Neuroscientist and earned my Ph.D. in 2016. I have throughout been passionate about arts, community engagement and social justice. I have worked with UASRA since 2018 as a unit Rep and have worked with the community as a team, focussing on needs, social justice, empathy, inclusivity and positive mental health. My husband is a postdcotoral neuroscientist and we have a 6 yr old child and are expecting our 2nd child this November 2021. I am so thankful to the whole UAS community for choosing me as the UASRA president 2021-2022 and look forward to a great, exciting and productive year hand-in hand with the terrific UASRA officers and community members.
